Two of the above elk stopped, they must have got my scent. They stamped their feet, both hind and front. The bigger cow gave out a bark, then three barks at intervals of two minutes. The other elk came off the hill, returned to her and they moved out to the west ridge. This is far more sport than shooting game. (Possibly Premier Lake area).
